Organisational Gap Analysis Report

This report examines how participating organisations understand and implement the European Charter for Researchers. Drawing on survey evidence, it explores current practices in recruitment, career development, working conditions and mobility, with a particular focus on support for early-stage researchers.

It identifies gaps between formal commitments and institutional practice, highlighting priorities for stronger awareness, improved working conditions, mentoring and career development support.

Customised Training Pathways and Career Support Services

This report sets out INSIGHT’s framework for customised training and career support for early-stage researchers. Aligned with the European Competence Framework for Researchers (ResearchComp), it defines three pathways: technology acceptance and human-centred design; research commercialisation, innovation and intellectual property; and professional readiness for cross-sectoral careers.

It also presents the training module catalogue, mentoring framework and industry engagement model, outlining how learning and career support will be combined to prepare researchers for work across sectors.
